PEM inserts
We have a new addition to our manufacturing services: a new machine for PEM inserts. PEM insert pins are used for inserts in aluminum and steel sheets. They are made of steel and aluminum and are suitable for sheets with a thickness of 1mm or more.
What are inserts?
The inserts are like hollow screws that are generally inserted into aluminum and then put in a screw.
These insertion presses allow to put rivets in any piece, but with the characteristic that it does not really rivet but rather solder directly. Is a stud Welding, which are headless screws, and unite one piece with another making a single one.
